Ingredient List:
- Chana dal
- Chaula dal
- Moong mogar chilka
- Rice flour
- Gram flour
- Salt
- Cumin
- Fennel
- Turmeric powder
- Red chili powder 11. Kuti red chili 12. Carom seeds 13. Asafoetida
- Garam masala
- Take 1 cup pre- mix Naman chilla mixture in a bowl.
- Add 1 ½ cup of water to it and soak it for ten minutes.
- Check the texture add more water if required.
- Meanwhile, heat the Tava/ griddle and grease it with few drops of oil.
- When it is heated enough, pour one ladle full of batter in the center.
- Spread it as thin as possible.
- Regulate the flame to medium and drizzle ¼ to ½ tsp of oil/ghee on it.
- Flip it with the help of a spatula.
- When you see brown spots on the chilla, remove it on the plate.
- Serve chillas with green chutney.
Serving:
Make three to four chillas.

- Sooji /Rava
- Chana dal
- Cashews
- Black mustard seeds
- Salt
- Turmeric powder
- Dry curry leaves
- Take 1 cup pre-mix Naman Rava Idli mix in a bowl.
- Add 1/4 cup curd and 3/4 cup water & 1/2 tsp salt.
- Soak it for a few minutes until the Rava absorbs the water.
- Mix well and add more water if required to form an Idli batter consistency.
- Grease the Idli plate with oil.
- Just before steaming, add 1/2 to 3/4 tsp Eno{fruit salt} to batter, mix well till it turns frothy.
- Pour the batter immediately into the idli plate. Do not rest the batter.
- Steam the Rava idli for 10 minutes on medium flame.
- Finally, serve the idli with hot sambar.
Serving:
Makes five to six idlis.
